PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery having a structure which allows easy replacement or removal of a defective battery.SOLUTION: A battery comprises: a battery body having a bottomed cylindrical outer package which serves also as a terminal of one electrode and has a bottom on the lower side, an electrode body which includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode and electrolyte housed in the outer package, and a collector which protrudes above the electrode body; and a connector attachable to/detachable from the battery body and having a bottomed cylindrical lid member which seals an opening of the outer package and includes a bottom on the upper side, and a conductive member which penetrates the bottom and includes, on the lower side, an engaging part for engaging with the collector and a terminal part, on the upper side, for serving as a terminal of the other electrode. Consequently, battery replacement can be facilitated just by removing a battery body of a defective battery from a connector and attaching a new battery body to the connector. |
