PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adverse influence on service provision when a fault occurs in an active edge device in the edge devices of an N+m redundant configuration.SOLUTION: A switching controller 100 switches setting information of a protocol used by an active device where a fault has occurred so as to be usable in a standby device, for a plurality of edge devices 10 assembled in an N+m redundant configuration. The switching controller 100 includes: a reception part 111 for acquiring the setting information of the protocol being used by the active device from the active device and storing it in a storage part 120; a fault detection part 113 for detecting fault occurrence of the active device; a transmission part 112 for acquiring the setting information of the protocol used by the active device where the fault has occurred from the storage part 120 and transmitting it to the standby device when the fault detection part 113 detects the fault occurrence of the active device; and a reactivation instruction part 116 for transmitting an instruction to reactivate the standby device which has received the setting information and turn it to an active operation state to the standby device. |
