PORTABLE DEVICE FOR DETERMINING STOP STATION IN TRAIN TRAVELING UNDERGROUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device for determining a stop station in a train traveling underground.SOLUTION: The portable device includes: an atmospheric pressure sensor for measuring air pressure; an air pressure database for storing reference air pressure data including time series of air pressure values in a train traveling from a first station to a second station and corresponding to a group of the first station and the second station adjacent to the first station in each group of respective stations; state determination means for determining whether the train is in a stop state or a traveling state; first similarity calculation means for calculating similarity of respective reference air pressure data corresponding to measurement air pressure data by executing correlation between the measurement air pressure data to be time series of a plurality of air pressure values measured by the air pressure sensor during a traveling state up to the stop state when the train becomes the stop state and each reference air pressure data stored in the air pressure database; and station determination means for determining a stop station from a group of stations corresponding to the reference air pressure data having the highest similarity out of similarity values calculated by the first similarity calculation means.
