PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of displaying a medical image reflecting a subject's periodic motion.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus of the embodiment acquires detection data by performing X-ray scanning of a subject including a region associated with a periodic motion. The X-ray CT apparatus includes a reconfiguration processing section, a moving image creation section, and a display control section. The reconfiguration processing section creates a plurality of volume data on the basis of the plurality of detection data acquired during one period of the periodic motion. The moving image creation section creates a moving image indicating the periodic motion, on the basis of at least some of the plurality of volume data. The display control section superimposes the moving image on an image based on the volume data, and makes a display section display the superimposed image. |
