PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery separator which has high productivity, high mechanical strength, and low internal shorting failure, and a method for manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery using the separator.SOLUTION: In a lithium ion secondary battery separator manufacturing method, a nonwoven fabric manufactured by a wet papermaking process is subjected to thickness adjustment by a calender composed of a metal heat roll having its surface spray coated with tungsten carbide or a metal heat roll spray coated with ceramic and an elastic roll. Also provided are a lithium ion secondary battery separator manufactured by the manufacturing method and a lithium ion secondary battery including the lithium ion secondary battery separator. |
