PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for retrieving frames of multi-media content.SOLUTION: For the above retrieval, candidate positions regarding a target frame corresponding to target time are set according to an average bit rate of an average bit rate calculation section to be set to frames of multi-media content, the candidate positions are adjusted by gradually reducing the average bit rate calculation section based on the candidate positions, a frame of which the difference in start time to the target time is within a predetermined permissible error range is determined as the target frame from among frames of which the start positions are the closest to the respective candidate positions. |
