PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of being used in a positive electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery to offer a high capacity and a high output.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a positive electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes the step of mixing a lithium metal complex oxide powder represented by the formula: LiNiCoMO, where 0.10≤x≤0.35, 0≤y≤0.35, 0.97≤z≤1.20, and M represents at least one kind of additional element selected from Mn, V, Mg, Mo, Nb, Ti, and Al, and composed of primary particles and secondary particles that are aggregates of the primary particles, with lithium tungstate. |
