PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple electrode gas shield arc welding method and a multiple electrode gas shield arc welding device, which can obtain excellent bead appearance, prevention effect of bead shape defect and stability of a molten pool, even when high efficiency welding is performed by three electrodes.SOLUTION: A multiple electrode gas shield arc welding method uses a multiple electrode gas shield arc welding device S which is equipped with a preceding electrode 11 and a trailing electrode 21, and further an intermediate electrode 31 between the preceding electrode 11 and the trailing electrode 21, wherein a distance between electrodes of the preceding electrode 11 and the trailing electrode 21 is set to be 15-50 mm, and while flowing a direct current of reverse polarity in the preceding electrode 11 and the trailing electrode 21, welding is performed by flowing an alternative current of constant current characteristic or drooping characteristic to the intermediate electrode 31. |
