PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce drive voltage to improve luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A display device (1) includes an organic EL element as a light emitting source. The organic EL element includes an anode, a cathode and a plurality of organic layers. The organic layers are disposed between the anode and the cathode, and include at least a light emitting layer, a hole transport layer and an electron transport layer. In the organic EL element, crystalline semiconductor nanoparticles having an average particle size of less than 10 nm are contained in at least one layer of the hole transport layer or the electron transport layer. |
