PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a continuously variable transmission capable of suppressing a gear shift delay more than the conventional art, in a vehicle provided with a CVT.SOLUTION: A control device of a continuously variable transmission includes: the continuously variable transmission having a primary pulley, a secondary pulley and a belt; and a hydraulic pressure control circuit which can be switched between a first state where a line pressure PL is higher than a secondary pressure Psec and a second state where the preset pressure of the line pressure PL is lower than the secondary pressure Psec by supplying a sheave pressure to at least either one of the primary pulley and the secondary pulley, wherein, when increasing the sheave pressure, the pressure-increasing speed of the sheave pressure in the case of the second state (step S5; YES) is set quicker (step S6) than that in the case of the first state (step S5; NO). |
