PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit an image and data attached to the image via an identical communication path.SOLUTION: An image transmitter which communicates with an image output device via a communication path 300 comprises a protocol acquisition unit which acquires a communication protocol of the communication path 300 and a synthesizing unit which generates synthetic data individually containing image data and attached data attached to the image data, in accordance with a format corresponding to the type of the acquired communication protocol, and the image transmitter outputs the generated synthetic data to the communication path 300. |
