PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high damping composition capable of forming a high damping material excellent in damping performance and furthermore having excellent processability, and a viscoelastic damper for buildings having a viscoelastic body formed using the high damping composition as a forming material.SOLUTION: A high damping composition is prepared by blending 100-180 pts.mass of silica and 1-30 pts.mass of modified calcium carbonate with 100 pts.mass of a base polymer. A viscoelastic damper has a viscoelastic body formed using the high damping composition as a forming material. |
