PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly pull a distal end portion of a key blade up from a key accommodation groove by operating start means without using tips of fingers even in the case where the key blade is being accommodated in the key accommodation groove.SOLUTION: A portable key comprises a grip body 1 including a key accommodation groove 16, a key body 21 which is supported by a support shaft 31 bridging one end portion of the grip body and is rotated from an accommodation position where a key blade 24 is accommodated in the key accommodation groove to an usage position, a lever cam 40 which is externally fitted to the support shaft and includes a pickup portion 40d, and an operating button 50 which is provided in the grip body so as to be engaged frictionally with the lever cam. When using the key blade, in the case where the operating button is pushed in an axial direction of the support shaft against a spring force of an operating button return spring 51, the lever cam is rotated for a required amount by the frictional engagement between a pressed portion 52 of the operating button and a receiving surface 53 of the lever cam, such that the key body is rotated by the pickup portion and a distal end portion of the key blade is floated from the key accommodation groove. |
