PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively register and call up information to be added to a map.SOLUTION: An information processing method of the present invention includes: a display controlling step (S13, S15) for displaying, in a display area, a map corresponding to a portion, specified by a user, of an entire map prepared in advance (S11), and also for overlaying an image desired by the user on the display area; and a storage controlling step (S13, S15) for associating a registered image that serves as the image overlaid on the display area by the user with information that indicates an overlay target of the registered image in relation to the entire map, so as to store the registered image and the information therein. In the display controlling step, if a map corresponding to all or a portion of the entire map is displayed on the display area after the registered image is stored, determination is made as to whether or not the map contains the overlay target of the registered image. If the overlay target is contained, the registered image associated with the overlay target is displayed so that the registered image is overlaid at the overlay target (S17). |
