PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information generating device which easily generates map data efficiently integrated of the result of aerial survey and the result of ground survey.SOLUTION: A map information generating device includes an aerial orthographic data generating part 2 which generates aerial orthographic data by arranging each of the point group data obtained by aerial survey to specify at least plane positions on the orthogonal projection position of the ground surface, a ground orthographic data generating part 4 which generates ground orthographic data having the same projection direction as of the aerial orthographic data by arranging each of the point group data obtained by ground survey to specify at least plane position on the orthogonal projection position of the ground surface, a matching processing part 6 which matches the aerial orthographic data with the ground orthogonal data by retrieving a pattern for either one corresponding to a predetermined reference pattern composed of the proper number of points for another one, and an integration part 7 which integrates the result of aerial survey and the result of ground survey by adjusting both of the measurement results corresponding to the overlapping part of the aerial orthographic data and the ground orthographic data. |
