PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network configuration design device designing a unique network configuration that allows for communication between rings even if faults occur at a plurality of points, by combining a plurality of ring type networks and making the connection points of the rings redundant.SOLUTION: The network configuration design device includes a conditional expression storage means, an input information reception means, a second number of network calculation means, and a configuration design means. The second number of network calculation means calculates the second number of networks r based on the input information received by the input information reception means, and the conditional expression stored in the conditional expression storage means. The configuration design means designs the configuration of network in which mutual communication between respective nodes is guaranteed even if a guaranteed number k of faults occur, based on the input information received and the second number of networks r calculated. |
