PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid remaining at a side face of a head from moving to a portion in the vicinity of an ejection hole by jamming after that.SOLUTION: A head (P) for ejecting a precoating liquid is arranged at the upstream side and a head (K) for ejecting ink droplets is arranged at the downstream side in a paper conveyance direction along a paper conveyance path. In a case where a jamming detection means detects jamming of a paper sheet in the paper conveyance path, it is confirmed that the paper sheet is removed by a user (S101). After that, when the number of times of jamming is not three (S103: NO), a purging operation for forcedly discharging liquid from an ejection hole and a wiping operation of an ejection face by means of a wiper are respectively performed by one time (S104). When the number of times of jamming is three (S103: YES), the purging operation and the wiping operation are respectively repeated by three times (S106). |
