PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having capacitance that can be increased while eliminating complication of manufacturing process.SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor comprises: a rectangular prism element forming a solid electrolyte by flattening a wound element formed by winding an anode foil, a cathode foil, and a separator interposed therebetween, into a rectangular prism; an anode lead-out terminal connected with the anode foil and exposed from one end face of the element; a cathode lead-out terminal connected with the cathode foil and exposed from the other end face of the element; and an exterior body for packaging the element. Both the anode lead-out terminal and cathode lead-out terminal are disposed on one side of the winding core of the element. |
