PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground installation optical cabinet for exchanging only a casing by leaving the content as it is when the casing receives a damage.SOLUTION: The ground installation optical cabinet includes: a pedestal 13 fixed onto a foundation constructed on the ground; a casing whose lower end is fixed to the pedestal 13 by a screw clamp; and a member mounting plate 55 erected in a state that the lower end is fixed to the pedestal 13 at the front part of a back wall part 15 in the casing 11. The casing 11 is configured to be pulled up so as to be removed when it is released from being screwed into the pedestal 13 while the component mounting plate 55 and components 85 to 91 mounted thereon or optical fiber core wires 67 to 71 or the like are left as they are.
