PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil which allows application of the most suitable magnetic bias even in the case of increase in current and can be made small-sized, light-weight, and low-cost.SOLUTION: The choke coil includes a coil 6 and a core 1 in which a closed magnetic circuit is formed by a first core 5 inserted to the center part of the coil 6 and a plurality of second cores 4 arranged around the coil. The second cores 4 are so formed that the sum total of their cross-section areas orthogonal to an axial line of the coil is larger than a cross-section area of the first core 5, a gap part G is formed in each second core 4, and a ferrite magnet 7 for applying a magnetic bias is disposed in the gap part G. |
