PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided inkjet recording medium capable of outputting a photographic image having gloss on both sides with highly developed colors and high picture quality equivalent to silver halide photography.SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording medium, at least one ink receiving layer containing an alumina hydrate and a binder is applied on an undercoat layer of base paper having at least one undercoat layer on both surfaces of the base paper containing wood pulp as a main constituent. The density of the base paper having the undercoat layer is 0.97 g/cmor less, calendar processing is performed after coating the ink receiving layer, and the density after calendar processing is 1.05 g/cmor more.
