PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which improves reproductivity of an image that is subjected to rasterization processing in a different resolution.SOLUTION: An image processing device G includes: a rasterization processing part 1 for generating image data having a resolution which is any one of a standard resolution, a resolution higher than the standard resolution and a resolution lower than the standard resolution by means of rasterization processing; a resolution converting part 2 for converting a resolution of the image data to the standard resolution when a resolution at the time of the rasterization processing of the generated image data is a resolution higher than the standard resolution or a resolution lower than the standard resolution; and a line thinning processing part 3 for performing line thinning processing to image data having the standard resolution. When the line thinning processing part 3 performs line thinning processing to image data whose resolution is converted to a resolution higher than a resolution at the time of the rasterization processing by the resolution converting part 2, the line thinning processing is performed while adjusting a line thinning intensity to a line thinning intensity greater than the line thinning intensity as to the image data whose resolution is not converted and hence is kept to the resolution at the time of the rasterization processing. |
