PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which acquires status information of an image formation device and prevents a status information request from being repeated without limit in a short time.SOLUTION: A next generation application 401 performs a status information request which requests acquisition of status information from a printing device 120. A next generation driver 410 executes acquisition processing of the status information from the printing device 120, combines pieces of status information each time the status information is acquired to generate combined information, and determines whether or not all pieces of status information are acquired on the basis of the combined information. When there is status information which has not been acquired from the printing device 120, the next generation driver 410 determines whether or not an execution frequency of the acquisition processing of the status information is within a threshold, and acquires information corresponding to a status designated in the status information request in the combined information to respond to request means when it is determined that the execution frequency of the acquisition processing of the status information exceeds the threshold. |
