PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a sink mark near a rib of a resin molded product.SOLUTION: In a method of molding a resin molded product, a resin material in a molten state added with a foaming agent is injected into a cavity of molding die to form a foam-molded product 2. The gate 15 communicating with the cavity of the molding die is continuously formed to a rising wall portion 4 of the foam-molded product 2. The rising wall portion 4 is provided with the rib 5 at a position apart from the gate 15 at a predetermined distance. Thickness tA of an upstream side portion 4A from the gate 15 to the rib 5 is made to be thinner than thickness tB of a downstream side portion 4B extending from the rib 5 to the opposite direction of the gate 15. A foaming of the molten resin material injected from the gate 15 into the cavity is suppressed at a region corresponding to the upstream side portion 4A, while the foaming of the molten resin material is promoted at a region corresponding to the downstream side portion 4B. |
