PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device of superior steering feeling, even when detecting any failure of electric current deviation.SOLUTION: A failure zone is determined by relationship between a motor current command value and an actual motor current value, and time for fixing failure is determined based on the determined failure zone. When the relationship between the motor current command value and the actual motor current value is in the failure zone, a current feedback circuit is intercepted based on the time for fixing the failure allocated to the failure zone. In other words, the failure zone and the time for fixing the failure are optimally selected by the relationship between the motor current command value and the actual motor current value, and steering feeling can be optimally maintained as much as possible. |
