Disclosed are a collapsible canopy frame for easy building and storage while collapsed to minimize the volume thereof, and a canopy using same. The collapsible canopy frame has symmetric connecting frames and asymmetric connecting frames both of which are connected to and between four posts, each of the symmetric connecting frames and asymmetric connecting frames having two rods linked in an X-shape. The symmetric connecting frames have crossing connecting points and connecting points at ends of the rods in the same length, thereby forming a horizontal part, and the asymmetric connecting frames have crossing connecting points and connecting points at ends of the rods in different lengths, thereby forming a sloping part. The present invention is convenient to use when a tent is coupled to the collapsible canopy frame, since the horizontal part and the sloping part form a sloping surface on the tent, thereby allowing rainwater to drain in a certain direction in case of rain. Also, the present invention is convenient to use, since the same collapsing method is used for all connecting frames connected to the posts, and thus merely folding and unfolding motions enable the storage and building of the present invention.
