PURPOSE: A negative electrode for secondary battery is provided to have high discharging capacity, to have excellent power properties and reversibility, to have high energy density and excellent rate properties, and to have excellent impregnation ability to electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode comprises a current collector, a first negative electrode active material layer comprising amorphous carbon based active material formed on at least one side of the current collector, and a second negative electrode active material layer comprising crystalline carbon based active material formed on outside of the first negative electrode active material layer. A manufacturing method of the negative electrode comprises: a step of forming slurry comprising amorphous carbon based active material on at least one side of a current collector; a step of forming a first negative electrode active material layer by drying the product; a step of coating slurry comprising crystalline carbon based active material on one side of the negative electrode active material layer; and a step of forming a second negative electrode active material layer by drying the product. |
