PURPOSE: A system of controlling a selective wireless communication in a network and a method thereof are provided to make it possible to selectively switch a Bluetooth communication to a Zigbee communication that consumes energy relatively less, by analyzing energy consumption and transmission speeds according to the size of data to be transmitted or received. CONSTITUTION: A determining unit (100) comprises a data analysis module (110) and a communication system decision module (120). The determining unit determines switching over to a suitable communication system by analyzing data to be transmitted or received. A control unit (200) controls switching over to a communication system determined by the determining unit. The control unit displays remaining power of a battery. A communication unit (300) transmits and receives the data using a communication system that is switched to according to a control single of the control unit.
