PURPOSE: A dual multibeam sounding device including a tilting means is provided to obtain a submarine topographical map. CONSTITUTION: A dual multibeam sounding device comprises a multibeam transducer (10), an underwater rod (20), a tilting means (30), and a holder (40). The multibeam transducer sends and receives an ultrasonic wave for measuring the depth of the ocean floor. The upper part of the underwater rod is coupled to the holder fixed to a vessel and inserts the multibeam transducer coupled to the lower part of the underwater rod into water through the tilting means. The holder is mounted at the side of the vessel and fixes the upper side of the underwater rod. The tilting means allows an operator to control the angle of the multibeam transducer on the vessel by stages. |
