PURPOSE: A traditional liquor and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to manufacture traditional liquor using anti-diabetic red pepper leaves, thereby enabling a patient with diabetes to conveniently digest functional foods. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing traditional liquor comprises the steps of: providing anti-diabetic red pepper leaf powder; dipping rice in water and steaming the rice; cooling the rice at room temperature and inoculating yeast to prepare crude liquor (S10); adding steamed rice and water to the crude liquor and fermenting for first mashing (S20); mixing rice, water, and the first-mashed mixture; adding the anti-diabetic red pepper powder, purified enzyme, and artificial sweetener; and fermenting the mixture for second mashing (S30).
