PURPOSE: A composite formulation containing saw palmetto and zinc sulfate is provided to treat prostate diseases, to improve normal immune function, to promote cell division, and to enhance stamina. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a composite formulation containing saw palmetto and zinc sulfate comprises the steps of: mixing 100 wt% of a saw palmetto fruit extract, 8-12 wt% of tocopherol, 10-14 wt% of sunflower seed oil, 2-6 wt% of soybean oil, and 28-32 wt% of palm oil to prepare a first mixture solution (102); adding a first emulsifier and a first surfactant to the first mixture solution and preparing an oil emulsified liquid (104); mixing an extract of Lycium fruit (10-14 wt%), Torilis japonica (Houtt.) DC. (2-6 wt%), Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. (2-6 wt%), Cuscutae semen (4-8 wt%), and Rubus coreanus fruit (2-6 wt%), 10-14 wt% of a ginseng concentrate liquid, 2-6 wt% of a Scutellariae Radix concentrate liquid, and 10-14 wt% of zinc sulfate to prepare a second mixture solution (106); adding a second surfactant and a second emulsifier to the second mixture solution to prepare an aqueous emulsified liquid (108); mixing the oil emulsified liquid and the aqueous emulsified liquid to prepare a mixed emulsified liquid (110); and filling a soft capsule with the mixed emulsified liquid (112).
