<p>The invention relates to an electronic device for continuously monitoring the breathing frequency with application in the medical field mainly for diagnosing sleep apnea syndrome. According to the invention, the device comprises a linear Hall sensor () placed on the thoracic cage of a patient, which surveys a magnetic field created by a permanent magnet () placed in its proximity and transforms the modification of the magnetic field intensity into a PWM signal acquired by a microcontroller () which transmits the data, by means of an emitter-receiver module, to a personal computer and a DC-DC converter () which generates the voltage necessary to the device, by some batteries ().</p> |
