The lock comprises a bolt (240), means for moving the bolt from a latched position to an unlatched position, one or more locking components for preventing movement of the bolt from a latched position to an unlatched position, and a deadlocking component actuated by a lock cylinder (300) for preventing movement of the locking components from a locked position to an unlocked position. The means for moving the bolt from a latched position to an unlatched position includes a bolt drive plate (250) which is moved linearly via rotation of a hub (200), which is rotated via an external handle affixed through the hub. The one or more locking components includes a top locking plate (220) which is moved linearly via rotation of an internal snib component (210), which is rotated via an external snib lever affixed through the internal snib component. The deadlocking component includes a bottom locking plate (230) which is driven linearly by a cam (301) of the lock cylinder. The bolt may be a rotating hook bolt.</p> |
