A plant cultivation device includes a plant cultivation vessel 1 having a water storage section 8 capable of storing an amount of plant cultivation water therein, a water-absorbing plant cultivation bed material placed in thewater storage section 8, and a water feeding means 30 for feeding plant cultivation water W to the water storage section 8, wherein in the water storage section 8, there is provided an overflow pipe 10 for discharging an amount of the plant cultivation water W in excess of a predetermined level. In the bottom face of the water storage section 8, there is provided a drainsection 20a having a water discharging capacity below the water feeding rate of the water feeding means 30. |
