<p>The invention relates to a method and a system used for transforming the function calls for interaction with the hierarchical data structures. The claimed method consists in that the processor receives a function call formed to operate on a relational database, the function call being transformed by the processor into a transformed function call formed for interacting with a hierarchical data structure, where the hierarchical data structure comprises a plurality of nodes, where each node has a single parent node, the transformed function call being applied to one node or more nodes of the hierarchical data structure, by the processor. The claimed system comprises a processor configured to execute instructions stored in a non-transitory computer-readable medium which ensures a mapping application comprising one or several modules configured to perform the operations of receiving, transforming and applying a function call.</p> |
