摘要 <p>The invention relates to an equipment and method for driving the belt conveyors without mechanical reducers, with static converter and asynchronous motors. According to the invention, the equipment consists of a power transformer (TP)having a number of 3n secondary windings in a triangle type connection which supplies a three-phase static converter (CSUF) of variable voltage and frequency, carried out in modular technology with a number of 3n mono-phase static converter type modules (CSM) coupled by serial electric connection of n pieces on each phase of the three-phase static converter (CSUF), so that each secondary winding (i) supplies the mono-phase static converter type (CSM) module (i) carried out in the IGBT, GTO or MOSFET technology, with i = 1...n, this three-phase static converter (CSUF) connected to the terminals of the stator circuit of an asynchronous motor (MA) allowing the asynchronous motor (MA) to obtain mechanical torques for start-up and adjustment of high values and adjusting the speed and implicitly of the belt conveyor speed without mechanical and electrical shocks of the asynchronous motor (MA). In order to obtain an asynchronous motor-resilient coupling-belt conveyor linkage, the method claimed by the invention consists in supplying the asynchronous driving motor with the electric energy of adjustable voltage and frequency from a three-phase static convertor obtained based on an algorithm defined by a number of 3n electrically serially connected mono-phase static converter-type modules, the three-phase asynchronous motor having a modified nominal frequency and a number of pairs of poles modified to the effect of lowering the nominal frequency and increasing the number of poles for the purpose of obtaining a higher nominal torque and implicitly start-up torques on artificial voltage and frequency characteristics higher to a usual asynchronous motor-resilient coupling-mechanical reducer-resilient coupling-belt conveyor linkage.</p>
