PURPOSE: A full ring for a functionalized layer insert of an ophthalmic lens is provided to form an active layer insert, thereby activating active components. CONSTITUTION: Layers (130, 131, 132) are included in a functionalized layer insert (110). A micro circuit detects an operation signal of an active lens insert (140). A power regulation layer controls the usage of battery power. The active lens insert is encapsulated with more than one material. Substrate functional layers forms a feature unit.
