588986 A folded box blank (1) is disclosed comprising a plurality of base sections (2,3,30,31,32,33) and side wall sections (10,11,14,15,16,17) hinged thereto. Inner base sections (2, 3) are symmetrically disposed about a base folding line (4). Outer base portions (30, 31, 32, 33) have folding lines (42) extending from an outer edge of the outer side wall panels to a point where the inner facing contour meets the base fold line (39). The fold lines (42) form a reinforcing portion (43) to assist in assembly of the box. The blank can be stored flat in a folded W configuration and assembled to form a box with base portions engaging each other to form the base.
