The applicator (2) has a rod (7), and a twisted core (10) that is attached to the rod. A brush (9) is arranged with a set of bristles (11) that extends from a portion of the twisted core. A molded applicator unit is arranged with a body, and teeth (18) extend from the body of the applicator unit. The body is arranged with a longitudinal passage that is traversed by another portion of the twisted core. The applicator unit is located between the rod and the brush. The applicator unit is able to freely rotate on the twisted core. An independent claim is also included for a device for application of a cosmetic product on lashes and/or eyebrows.
