<p>The invention relates to a winding drum with electro-hydraulic drive, which may be used in cranes, in pulling winches mounted on motor vehicles or in mooring hoists. The drum claimed by the invention, consists of a barrel () closed with two covers () whereto a rotating housing () is attached to the inside, by means of some screws (), inside said housing there being located an odd number of radially-arranged pistons () which are supported towards the inside on a shaft () with a fixed eccentricity, where said pistons may receive pressurized oil through two semi-circular apertures () cut in a board () which is in frontal contact with the housing (), from a rotating block () containing the same odd number of pistons (), also arranged in radial position, which are also supported towards the inside on a rolling track () transversely adjustable in position in relation to a shaft () by means of a piston (), against a spring (), the block () being rotated by means of a grooved coupling in both directions by a DC electric motor () which concomitantly rotates, by means of a rod (), an auxiliary toothed wheel pump () which may provide oil under a pressure by a proportional control device () consisting of a selecting valve () and a proportional valve (), to a piston (), so that when the control current is null the drum remains stopped, even under load, and when the control current progressively increases, the speed increases progressively and proportionally in relation to the same, the assembly also containing a support () for fastening the electric motor () assembled to a general fastening frame () and inside the recesses for the pistons () there are an overload protection valve () and an anti-cavitation valve () for protecting the embedded hydraulic transmission.</p> |
