METHOD FOR FORMING INK JET PRINTHEAD AND PRINTER SUBASSEMBLY COMPRISING INK JET PRINTHEAD

PURPOSE: A method for forming an inkjet print head and a partial assembly of a printer are provided to reduce the number of materials need to form the inkjet print head and time required for assembling the materials, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and the complexity of a manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming an inkjet print head includes the following steps of: placing a first layer (10) in contact with a second layer (12); maintain the interface (24) between the first and second layers by using an ultrasonic horn (22) applying a pressure (24) to the second layer; applying ultrasonic frequencies to the interface between the first and second layers with the ultrasonic horn; and physically adhering the first layer onto the second layer by hardening at least one of the first and second layers and forming at least a part of the inkjet print head.
