PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device that can properly cool a cooling medium sent to an evaporator of equipment to be cooled in an intermediate heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A refrigeration device includes: a two-stage compressor 11; an intercooler 38; a gas cooler 46; an intermediate heat exchanger 80 connected to the gas cooler 46; and a cooling medium adjusting tank 100 provided to collect a cooling medium flowing a high-pressure side cooling medium path leading to show case units 5A, 5B from the gas cooler 46 via the intermediate heat exchanger 80. The intermediate heat exchanger 80 performs heat exchange between a cooling medium from the gas cooler 46 and a cooling medium that is branched from the high pressure side cooling medium flow path and decompressed by an expansion valve 83, and includes a first communication path 95 in which the cooling medium whose heat is exchanged by the intermediate heat exchanger 80 via the expansion valve 83 is flown into a high stage side suction opening 26 of the second stage of a two stage compresser 11, and that connects the flow path of the cooling path flowing from the expansion valve 83 to the intermediate heat exchanger 80 and the lower part of the cooling medium adjusting tank 100, and a first valve device 96 provided in the first communication path 95 and having a throttle function. |
