PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of suppressing an input error by a typing mistake.SOLUTION: A terminal device includes: a touch panel 21 which includes a detection surface 22 formed on a display screen and detects an operation position of a touch operation in relation to the detection surface 22; a typing support board 10 which is mounted on the detection surface 22, includes an operation surface 10a formed with two or more key regions 11 thereon and is capable of detecting a touch operation to the key regions 11 by the touch panel 21; a support board position detection section 201 for detecting the mounting position of the typing support board 10 on the basis of an output of the touch panel 21 after mounting the typing support board 10; and a key region discrimination section 202 for discriminating the key regions 11 on the operation surface 10a on which the touch operation is performed on the basis of the output of the touch panel 21 and the mounting position of the typing support board 10.
