The device (10) has an actuator (22) i.e. linear actuator (30), for moving a gear wheel (20) in two shift positions (28). The gear wheel is designed as a drive pinion (32) of a motor unit (14). The gear wheel transfers a drive movement (12) on a shaft (16) having two different transmission ratios and on an eccentric cam (18) based on the shift positions. A shift element e.g. pin, is arranged between the gear wheel and the actuator. Bearing elements e.g. disk or rolling bearings, are arranged between the gear wheel and the shift element and/or the actuator.
