The component (100) has an electrical element (110) connected to a surface of an electric conductor (130) through a firmly bonded connector (150). A supporting element (120) i.e. supporting shoe, is firmly connected with the surface of the conductor. The supporting element partially surrounds an end region (140) of the electrical element to provide a thermal expansion force generated by a force receiving surface by a thermal expansion of the electrical element to the end region of the electrical element. The electrical element is designed as a semiconductor element or a thermoelectric element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a thermoelectric generator (2) a method for manufacturing an electrical component.
