The lock (1) has door frame assembly (2) and door unit (4) attached to door frame (21) and cabinet door (22) respectively. The door frame assembly has a movable latch (3) which is moved between locking position in which cabinet door is engaged in a receptacle (5) of door unit, and unlocking position in which cabinet door is removed from receptacle of door unit. A Bowden cable (6) has one end (6a) arranged at door frame assembly for movement of latch between locking and unlocking positions, while other end (6b) is connected to a drive (10) of electrical switching device. An independent claim is included for a locking unit.
