PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of constructing a quality composite image flexibly corresponding to a change in posture of an image apparatus body.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: acquisition means for acquiring image data corresponding to one image of a subject at a fixed time interval; an update image memory area &bgr; for storing the image data as update image data of which luminance is to be compared for each pixel; a composite image memory area α for storing, as composite image data, comparison object image data whose luminance is compared with luminance of pixels in the update image memory area &bgr; for each corresponding pixel, and then is replaced with greater luminance for data of the pixel; and image processing means. The image processing means executes comparison of luminance for each pixel between the update image data of this time among the update image data obtained by the acquisition means at the fixed time interval, and the composite image data during the acquisition, and replaces luminance data stored in the pixel in the composite image memory area α with greater luminance data. |
