PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lower die for press bending, which has an advantage such that bending marks are not generated on a workpiece even when performing bending works of L-shape and other shapes, and to obtain a tool using the lower die for press bending.SOLUTION: The lower die of a bending tool is formed into a hollow downward from the top surface when viewing the die from a side face, has a recessed groove formed approximately into a V shape, and consists of a block body fixed to a bending device, both sidewall parts of the V-shaped recessed groove of the block body are formed by being curved into an arcuate shape in the upper end part and formed so as to continue to the horizontal upper surface of the block body while maintaining the arcuate shape. When a metal plate bends by the pressurizing action of a mortar, the contact position of the metal plate with the block body is moved along the curved surface from the outside of the V-shaped recessed groove to both sides. Consequently, the metal plate does not receive strong reaction force (stress concentration) from the shoulder corner part of the block body at that one point and bending marks are not generated in the neighborhood of the bending point. |
