摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide phosphor dispersion in which a phosphor is dispersed and the sedimentation of the phosphor is more inhibited than that of the conventional phosphor dispersion having the same composition.SOLUTION: A method for producing phosphor dispersion is provided by comprising a process of obtaining first phosphor dispersion by stirring mixed liquid containing the phosphor, inorganic particles and first solvent, and a process of obtaining second phosphor dispersion by adding second solvent to the first phosphor dispersion. By taking the viscosity of the first phosphor dispersion as &eegr;1 at a shear rate of 60 (1/s) at 25°C measuring temperature, the viscosity of the first phosphor dispersion as &eegr;2 at a shear rate of 1 (1/s) at 25°C measuring temperature and the viscosity of the second phosphor dispersion as &eegr;3 at a shear rate of 60 (1/s) at 25°C measuring temperature, each of the &eegr;1, &eegr;2 and &eegr;3 satisfies the following formulas: &eegr;3<&eegr;1<&eegr;2. 1000(mPa s)&le;&eegr;2&le;1.0×10(mPa s) and 40(mPa s)&le;&eegr;3&le;800(mPa s).
