摘要 <p>Provided is a lubricant composition with which kinematic viscosity at 40°C, kinematic viscosity at 100°C and HTHS viscosity at 100°C can be kept sufficiently low for a low viscosity lubricant composition which has an HTHS viscosity at 150°C of less than 2.6 mPa.s, with which increase in friction coefficient of a boundary lubrication region can be sufficiently suppressed, and which has excellent fuel efficiency. This lubricant composition is characterized by comprising a lubricant base oil with a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 1 to 5 mm2/s, (A) a viscosity index improver with a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 400,000 or less and a PSSI of 20 or less, (B) an overbased metal detergent with a metal ratio of 3.4 or less, and (C) a friction modifier, and having an HTHS viscosity at 150°C of less than 2.6 mPa.s.</p>
